Customized Nail Tech Training Session (3 Hours)
This is a one-on-one, in-person, hands-on training experience designed for newly licensed nail technicians who have completed school but still find themselves struggling with technique, consistency, and confidence.
If you have your license but do not yet feel ready to get hired, take clients on your own, or perform services without fear of causing damage, this training is for you.
Our goal is to help you build the skills, control, and confidence needed to become hireable or successfully work for yourself while maintaining a safe, professional standard of care.
Why This Training Exists
This training came from years of working closely with both clients and nail technicians.
In our spa, we provide advanced, results-driven services, which means there is a certain level of skill and control required to work on clients safely. While we do train our team to reach the Ethereal standard, technicians must already come in with a foundational level of skill before we can build on it.
What we found is that many licensed nail technicians simply do not have that foundation — not because they are not capable, but because it was never fully developed or corrected during their training.
At the same time, we were consistently being asked by nail technicians if we offered training. Many shared that they had completed school but still felt unsure of their technique, lacked consistency, or were afraid of causing damage when working on clients.
We also saw what happens when the right training is given. The technicians we have trained internally have significantly improved in both skill and confidence, and some have gone on to build successful careers and businesses of their own.
There is a gap between getting licensed and actually being ready to work on real clients at a high standard. This training is designed to bridge that gap.
Our Approach to Teaching
This training is built around meeting you where you are. Rather than following a fixed curriculum, we focus on a customized, level-based approach where we work directly on what you need, at your pace.
We are also very intentional about how time is used. Aside from the initial portion where we listen and watch to understand your challenges, the rest of the session will be hands-on — you will be working the majority of the time while receiving real-time coaching, with only a short break.
Some technicians will move quickly through multiple concepts. Others will spend more time refining one area. Either way, the goal is that what you learn, you understand clearly and can apply with confidence.
Who You Will Be Working With
You will be working directly, in person, with Elizabeth Oloyede and Maria Oloyede, owners of Ethereal Medi-Pedi & Handcare and Ethereal Wellness & Esthetics in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Both locations are highly rated, consistently maintaining approximately 4.8-star ratings across Google and Yelp with hundreds of client reviews.
Elizabeth Oloyede is a licensed nail technician, educator, and medical esthetician with over a decade of experience, known for her results-driven, clinical approach to nail and skin care.
Maria Oloyede is a Certified Master Pedicurist with a medical background and extensive experience in advanced foot care.
Together, they are certified educators in Onyfix and PodoExpert and bring both clinical knowledge and real-world service experience into every training session.
Advanced Manicure & Natural Nail Training with Elizabeth Oloyede
Elizabeth's specialty is working with the natural nail using high-quality gel systems to create clean, balanced, and long-lasting results. She focuses on building nails that are not only aesthetically refined, but structurally sound and supportive of long-term nail health.
Through this training, you will gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to safely and confidently perform manicure services at a higher standard, with a focus on:
- E-file control and safe gel removal
- Proper prep and lifting recognition
- Building a smooth, balanced gel overlay
- Nail shaping and structure consistency
- Working with the natural nail without causing damage
- Understanding product control and placement
Advanced Foot Care Training with Maria Oloyede
Maria is a Certified Master Pedicurist trained in Onyfix and advanced foot care systems. Her specialty is waterless (dry) pedicures, using precision-based e-file techniques to safely and effectively groom the feet.
Through this training, you will gain exposure to a higher standard of pedicure work, including:
- Dry (waterless) pedicure techniques
- Safe and effective e-file use on the feet
- Nail and skin assessment awareness
- Precision grooming and callus care
- Working with real client challenges
How the Session is Structured
Each 3-hour, in-person session is designed to maximize hands-on work and minimize wasted time.
- Listen & Watch Assessment — 45 minutes
- Customized Game Plan — 15 minutes
- Hands-On Coaching — 2 Hours
Areas of Focus May Include
- E-file control and safety
- Proper product removal and reduction
- Recognizing lifting and proper prep
- Nail shaping and structure
- Gel overlay application and balance
- Dry pedicure fundamentals and technique
Additional Value
- Includes 1 hour of in-person shadowing for both manicure and pedicure services
- Training takes place inside our working spa environment
- We intentionally open our spa for these sessions, giving you real exposure to how services are performed at a higher standard
- Ongoing feedback and guidance
Important to Know
This is a skill-based coaching session, not a certification course. Progress is based on your current level, consistency, and ability to apply corrections.
This training is best suited for newly licensed or early-stage technicians who are still building their technical foundation.
Session Investment
$700 per 3-hour session
